Usage Restrictions:

Web sites hosted by Electric Kitten are prohibited from promoting or enabling illegal activity of any kind, including but not limited to child pornography, copyright infringement, warez, fraud, harassment, export control violations and ?hacking?. Electric Kitten will notify law enforcement if illegal activity is uncovered. Electric Kitten will cooperate with legal agencies as necessary in order to comply with a court order, subpoena, summons, discovery request, warrant, statute, regulation or governmental request. No IRC service may be run on any of our servers. Any form of Matts Formmail can not be run as well. there are great solutions in PHP easy forms that we can provide you or even code one in to match your site for a nominal fee. Spamming, or the sending of unsolicited bulk and/or commercial messages over the Internet, will not be tolerated. Electric Kitten maintains full discretion in determining what constitutes spam. Clients who are found violating usage policies are subject to immediate cancellation of their accounts and are not entitled to any refunds.

Satisfaction Guarantee:

If you are not completely satisfied with your Electric Kitten hosting package within the first thirty days of signing up, we will cancel your account and provide you with a full refund of your first month's hosting fee.

Cancellations:

You may cancel at anytime, though we don't wish you to! If you decide to cancel services, please note that cancellations that occur after the first thirty days of signing up on an annual package, you will not be entitled to a full or partial refund. There are no refunds on domain names, regardless of when the request is made.

All renewals cancellation request must be submited at least 30 days prior to the renewal date. We will not assume cancellation of any account if no cancellation request is received. You will be responsible for the entire renewal amount if not cancelled according to the terms mentioned.

To cancel your service, please open a ticket at KittenSupport.net and include your domain name, full name, address, payment method and reason for cancellation.
All cancellations must be done via the support system (KittenSupport.net) to keep a form of record and request. This is for your security and ours.

Privacy and Security:

Your personal information, including your email address, is kept confidential and never shared with affiliates or outside companies without your explicit authorization. Personal information will only be shared when absolutely necessary in order to comply with a court order, subpoena, summons, discovery request, warrant, statute, regulation or governmental request. Electric Kitten uses cookies to customize the client's experience within our web site. Cookies also allow us to give clients faster access to areas within the site and control panel and are provided for the client's convenience. The primary method of payment at Electric Kitten is by credit card, and most transactions are handled through Authorize.Net one of the most trusted and secure payment processors in the business. Length of Service:

Electric Kitten's clients are never asked to commit to lengthy contracts*. All hosting packages (except *Baby Kitten) are available on a month-to-month basis. The recurring monthly fee will be charged according to the payment method established between the client and Authorize.Net or Paypal as applicable. The monthly fee will be charged in thirty-day increments based upon the sign-up date for the client's account. For example, a client who signed up for the Electric Kitten package ($34.95) on March 21 using a credit card through Authorize.Net or PayPal would expect the next charge of $34.95 to be billed through PayPal on April 20.

While we want to keep our clients forever, they are free to cancel their service at any time. In order to cancel service, it is necessary that clients notify us thirty days prior to their next billing date. This ensures that we have adequate time to cancel the recurring billing transactions to prevent former clients from being billed in error.

System Backups:

Electric Kitten backs up all content on our servers nightly, weekly and monthly. This gives the client access to three levels of backups. We also backup locally and to a Veratis Tape back-up. Clients are strongly encouraged to back up their own web sites daily or at a minimum weekly. Backups are fully controlled by the client through the Control Panel software, including MySQL database. Electric Kitten is not responsible for any data lost between backups. We encourage users to use the powerful backup features inside the UCP (user control panel). Users can quickly backup entire sites and MySql Databases very simply.
