How to Host Another Website on Your Account (Addon Domains)

Run more than one website from a single Electric Kitten hosting plan.

On plans that include multiple domains, you can host completely separate websites from the same account. Each domain gets its own folder.

Add a domain

  1. Make sure the domain is pointed to Electric Kitten (see pointing your domain).
  2. Log in to cPanel and open Domains → Domains.
  3. Click Create A New Domain and enter the new domain name, such as myothersite.com.
  4. Leave Share document root unchecked and accept the suggested folder.
  5. Click Submit.

Upload the new site to its folder, then create email accounts for it in Email Accounts by choosing the new domain.
