Every Electric Kitten hosting plan includes email at your own domain. Here’s how to create a new mailbox such as you@yourdomain.com.
Create the mailbox
- Log in to your client area, open your hosting service and click Log in to cPanel.
- In the Email section, click Email Accounts.
- Click + Create.
- If you host more than one domain, choose the domain from the Domain menu.
- Enter the Username — the part before the @ (for example, sales).
- Choose a strong password, or click Generate to create one. Save it somewhere safe.
- Set the Storage Space (mailbox quota). Leave it at the default unless you need more.
- Click Create.
Check your new mailbox
Your address works right away. To read mail in the browser, go back to Email Accounts and click Check Email next to the new account to open webmail.
Tip: Want to read this mail on your phone or in Outlook or Apple Mail? On the Email Accounts page, click Connect Devices next to the account for the exact server settings.
