Every Electric Kitten plan includes a one-click installer for WordPress and dozens of other apps. It creates the database and configures everything for you.
Install WordPress
- Log in to cPanel and find the app installer in the Software section (it may be called Softaculous Apps Installer or WordPress Manager).
- Choose WordPress and click Install.
- Under Choose Installation URL, pick https:// and your domain. Leave the directory empty to install at your main address, or enter a folder name like blog.
- Set your Site Name, Admin Username, a strong Admin Password and your Admin Email.
- Click Install.
When it finishes, you’ll see links to your new site and its dashboard (yourdomain.com/wp-admin).
Keep it secure
- Use a unique admin username — never admin.
- Keep WordPress, themes and plugins updated.
- Only install plugins you actually use, from trusted sources.
- Download a backup before major updates.
Tip: Prefer us to set it up? Our team can install and configure WordPress for you — just open a ticket.
